Director James McTeigue.
Written and Produced by Andy + Larry Wachowski, with the assistance of Joel Silver.
Cast: Natalie Portman, Hugo Weaving, John Hurt, and Stephen Fry.
Story: A Guy Fawkes-like masked terroist begins a campaign to encourage the people to rebel against a fascist government in a near future Britain.
I enjoyed the film. Although the film will be perceived as controversal due to its theme of terroism. If you look more deeply its about governments/politicians taking advantage of fear and using it to their advantage to gain power and control.
It was well-acted, good script. Not enough action scenes for my liking, although the final confrontation for V at the end is good stuff.
My only niggle is that Natalie Portman, although handles the role of Evey well, has this weird British accent. Can't put my finger on it, but it will disturb you after 2 hours.
Based on the Alan Moore graphic novel.
